If we were having coffee I would firstly apologise for missing our date last weekend. I’ve had a super busy two weeks and haven’t been able to blog as much as I would have liked. But here I am; I’m all yours now. Lucky you!
So, as promised in my last coffee share, here’s my update on my facial. It was very relaxing and I really needed some R&R. I am pleased to report that I did not have the stingy stuff put on my face this time, instead I had clay that smelled like seaweed. Which, was not so pleasant sitting under my nostrils for ten minutes. At least it kept me from falling asleep this time. No embarrasing snorty-snores for me!
I had a crazy week at work last week and things only started to settle down at the end of this week. But what can I say, I love the challenge. I don’t believe I’ve told you this before, but I work as a medical receptionist in a lovely rural town. Busy, but rewarding.
I’ve also spent the past two weeks studying like a madwoman, though I’m sure some would say I’m a madwoman whether I’m studying or not. I’m looking at you Dad.
Speaking of the devil, a big “Happy Father’s Day” for tomorrow. Unfortunately I won’t be able to spend the day with you because your off working in the middle of nowhere. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Olympic Dam, it literally is in the middle of nowhere. Or, out woop-woop as we Aussies call it.
I’d also tell you that I’m looking into a few new business ventures at the moment. But I wouldn’t give you to many details as I gulped on my paint thinner strength coffee. Hopefully, I’ll be able to give you some more details soon.
Today I plan on working on an assignment due Monday and eating the scrumptious German chocolates a friend gave to me yesterday. Well, if I’m being honest, I have already eaten almost the whole box…almost. If I’m on my very best behaviour today, I might even treat myself to a nice glass of Grant Burge Tawny Port tonight. As the person deciding whether or not I have been on my very best behaviour, I am pretty confident that I will have my treat.
Well I seem to have run out of coffee (and chocolates), so I shall leave you here and go in search of another vat of coffee. Ta-ta for now.
