Weekend Coffee Share #8

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I lived up to my promise out our last coffee date and have spent the week working on assignments, which I will also be doing in the coming week.

The weather has been much nicer this week and I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally have sunshine. Seriously, I have been doing my sun dance for five months now, though you’re probably glad you didn’t have to witness it!

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I have signed up to NaNoWriMo. I’m excited, nervous, and overwhelmed all at once. Writing 50,000 words in one month is a big ask. I have a very basic, thin story outline. I have a picture of the characters in my head. I have an idea of what I want to say. What I don’t have is a plan, character profiles, chapter summaries, or anything particularly helpful to be honest. I will probably fail miserably at the challenge, but I will do it with a goofy grin on my face and 100,000 cups of coffee.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that the count down is on. This time next week I will be putting the finishing touches on my last assignment for the year and I will be getting ready for four months break from studying.

If we were having coffee I would ask you about how you week was, if you bought that awesome purple car, and most of all I would ask you to tell me more about your recent alien abduction.

Kudos for giving it a shot! Would love to read it when you’re done, if you wish to share.. Good luck! I was hoping to participate in NaBloPoMo, but I don’t think it’s going on. 😦
