Weekend Coffee Share #11

If we were having coffee I would tell you that this month has been far from the best. I’m still unwell, which has been very inconvenient.

I haven’t had much time to write these past few weeks on account of being sick, having a stressful couple of weeks a work, and all the other normal life things that get in the way. Though I haven’t had much time to physically write, I have been writing my novel in my head, so I basically have a novel that just needs to be written down.

NaNoWriMo so far.

Word Count: 5,535 (I know, it’s very low. But I would estimate my “unwritten” word count at about 30,000.)

Coffee Count: I honestly can’t remember. I haven’t had many, I’ve mainly been drinking tea, which always makes me feel better when I’m unwell.

I think it’s safe to say that NaNoWriMo isn’t for me. It doesn’t fit in with my schedule and that’s completely fine. I’ve given it a go and that’s what matters. It’s not a total loss though, I’ve created a very detailed outline for my novel, I’ve started writing it, and I know what I’m going to write next. I’m certainly not going to give up on this novel when the month is out, I’m going to continue writing it until it’s finished, however long that takes me.

Because I missed last weekend’s coffee share, I’ll share two novel secrets with you this week – find out secret one here.

Secret #2

The novel is set in the four kingdoms of Ignis, Aqua, Terra, and Aer, which formerly made up the kingdom of Asgaroda.

Secret #3

Doddy is one of the main characters. He is a mage. He is kooky. Oh, and he loves to cook!

I hope you have a wonderful week!
